   The good thing about South Central is that it’s not big or small. Also the stores and schools are close. What can improve will be the trash that are on the streets. The streets need to be clean so that the sewers won’t get flooded . What I like about living here will be that it has every thing. I’ve been living here since I was small . I like every thing , it has the stores , schools, the places that we can go close to were I live. So it’s no that far that we have to take a car.The three most important events that have had the greatest impact on making South Central, LA what it is today are The Riots , Crack Epidemic, and Immigration.

   What I know about the events that have had a big impact on LA will be the riots . The riots have changed South Central. They lasted more than 2 days .There was every thing going on Fighting, Yelling, Fires, Police ever were. The fires destroyed house, stores , apartments. After the riots were finished it calmed down . Some of the places that were destroyed were rebuilt or the were just left behind. It’s was important because with out the riots we would not have our (Jack in the Box, Mc D’s or any of those places).

   Another event that has had a big impact on South Central is the Crack Epidemic . It has done many things to every one. It even has it’s history. Back in the times when there was not much money , drugs came in to peoples lives . Children use to sell drugs so that there families will have money to survive. Some parents will take the drug and keeped doing drugs. Children grew up with out a parent or with out both of them. They were just kids they needed a parent to be with them how would they take care of there brothers or sisters .It still goes on today, there are teens selling drugs , smoking in the school, there own house, and they also do it when every or were ever they can. It important because  teens have died because the use of drugs.

   My last important topic is immigration. Immigration has been happening sine slavery. People move because they want a better life. They want to be free , they don’t want to be any were, were they don’t want to. Some fathers or mothers live behind there families to give them a better life. They will fine a way to get them to the place were they are. The people that immigrate here will work… they will be looking and looking for a job just so they can have a good life. I choose this topic because Immigration has been a big impact on every body. People don’t want to let there families down.

   With all the events that I have went over…..for me these are the most important ones. South Central is a good place, but its the history that make it bad. With all the reviewing that we have been doing in class …… it seems like we were going to have peace. Every one was going to get along. But its the police fought that we don’t have peace.they didn’t want it. They made every thing worse. I think that South Central will change…. it’s just that we ALL have to see that we are a family that we can change our communities. (SOUTH CENTRAL)
